Micromotion Devices
We are specializing on some aspects of micromotion devices using electroactive polymers, electrostatic actuators and contact-free levitation. Devices for cell handling, MRI compatible actuators or UH Vacuum actuators are some application examples.
Virtual Reality and Active Interfaces (VRAI)
The VRAI group is creating innovative user interfaces in a broad range of application fields like computer aided surgery and human-robot interaction. To support these applications we are mainly working with haptics, computer vision and 3D graphics.
Spark-assisted chemical machining of glass (SACE) and massively parallel AFM array with holographic readout.
