We are specializing on some aspects of micromotion devices using electroactive polymers, electrostatic actuators and contact-free levitation. Devices for cell handling, MRI compatible actuators or UH Vacuum actuators are some application examples.

The VRAI group is creating innovative user interfaces in a broad range of application fields like computer aided surgery and human-robot interaction. To support these applications we are mainly working with haptics, computer vision and 3D graphics.
